Kites and more kites await you, so once you are checked in and freshened up, you will be taken to visit the Kite Museum, and it is the first of its kind in India while being the second of its kind in the world. Bhanubhai Shah collected kites from the age of 21 years, his collection expanded through the years and finally in 1986, his collection was turned into a museum.
Post breakfast, you will set off to explore the old world charm behind the Uttarayan or the kite flying festival. Many northern states celebrate this festival with much fervor, however Gujarat’s charm is unique in itself. You will visit the old city area of Ahmedabad and as you go along you will see shops buzzing with energy as people flock them to pick kites of different sizes and colours.
(Road trip of 400 km, covered in 7 hours) After breakfast, you depart for Dhordo 12.30 pm – You will be welcomed to Dhordo and checked in 12.30 – 14.00 – Lunch will await you in the dining area. 14.00 – 16.30 – You will head out to explore the local market and the activities 16.30 – 17.00 – Evening Hi Tea would be served 17.00 – 19.30 – Visit the gorgeous White Desert 20.00 – 21.30 – Dinner awaits you in the dining area. 21.00 – 22.00 – Cultural Activities await you at the White Rann Resort
